Dr. Mark Wiley’s article is excellent. The most important part about the Duke University study is that it studies the effects of acupuncture using correct acupuncture techniques and acupuncture points. Many of the other acupuncture studies have used sham acupuncture points, which may have some effect but wouldn’t work nearly as well as using a true acupuncture point.
